As one of our philanthropic principles, we want the people around us to benefit from our distinct perspectives, particularly in financial services. This principle of mutually beneficial partnerships between business and society is reflected in our values and our history of philanthropy to make a meaningful difference to the world we live in.

Saidler & Co.’s two main goals in its philanthropic activities in financial services is to drive down the cost of personal finance and improve access to financial services, in particular in emerging countries. Our projects and initiatives have caught the attention of Mr. Shimon Peres, the President of Israel 2007-2014 and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

On the invitation of Mr. Peres, Mr. Martin Saidler as Chairman of Saidler & Co. was invited to meet the former president at the Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the impact of technology on the future of Israel as well as initiatives to increase investments between Switzerland and Israel.

The Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, founded in 1996 by Shimon Peres, develops and implements impactful and meaningful programs with a focus on promoting a prosperous Israel, nurturing and highlighting Israeli innovation, and paving the way for shared-living between all of Israel’s citizens and lasting peace between Israel and its neighbors.
