Partnering with the Global Leadership Foundation

We are delighted to announce our partnership with the Global Leadership Foundation (GLF). The partnership entails providing financial support, hosting charitable events and having Mr. Martin Saidler join the International Council of the Global Leadership Foundation.

The first joint event was held at the facilities of Numbrs Personal Finance AG, a portfolio company of Saidler & Co. Finance AG. During a lunch gathering, attended by distinguished leaders such as Mr. Kaspar Villiger (former President of Switzerland), Mr. de Klerk (former President of South Africa) shared his own experience of the parallels between national transformation and business technology supremacy. He focused on the perspectives of the historic change and leadership process that reformed a nation, and the steps that need to be taken during a process of transformation and change in the business world today.

The GLF was founded by Mr. Frederik Willem de Klerk, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and the former President of South Africa. The GLF exists to make available, discreetly and in confidence, the experience of former leaders to today’s national leaders.

The GLF is a network built around its 36 members, all former Presidents, Prime Ministers, or other distinguished leaders with first-hand experience of the difficulties of political leadership. Its members contribute to the work of GLF as private individuals, motivated by a desire to give something back to the world. Working in small teams, in their personal capacity, members offer private and confidential advice to Heads of Government.

The approach of the foundation is defined by strict confidentiality. It bypasses protocol, ensures privacy, facilitates the establishment of a relationship of trust, and ensures that leaders can assume credit for any successful initiative they are helped with, strengthening and reinforcing their credibility.
